-What are your spreads? Spreads are variable and not fixed. Example EUR/USD spread is 1 pip 90% of the time during major market hours. ATC provides True ECN pricing which means that you will see the spreads as they come from the banks. ATC does not manipulate or add any pips to the spreads; Our order routing is a Straight Through Processing (STP) environment.
-What is ECN connection? ECN stands for Electronic Communications Network, ECN technology automatically matches buy and sell orders at specified prices coming from liquidity providers. On the software you will see the best price that is offered by multiple liquidity providers. The liquidity providers are the banks and other traders that are connected to the trading software. The advantages of trading on an ECN portal instead of a dealing desk operation is tighter spreads, deeper liquidity and no market manipulation.
-Is the ECN/Metatrader technology developed by ATC Brokers? Yes.
-What is the difference between Metatrader and Metatrader Pro? Almost all Metatrader 4 platform in the marketplace are retailed oriented, the Metatrader 4 Pro is a direct connection to ECN for better pricing and execution.
-What is the difference between Metatrader Pro and Metatrader Institutional? Metatrader Pro is connected to 1 ECN and Metatrader Institutional will be
connected to Multiple ECN, giving you best Bid/Offer between the ECN’s.
-What is the leverage? The leverage is set to 100:1.

-Can I get a higher leverage amount? No, the highest leverage will remain at 100:1..
-What is the minimum lot size? The minimum lot that can be placed is 10,000 (0.10) lot size.
-What is the maximum lot size? There is no maximum.
-Do you allow mini contracts? Yes, you have the ability to trade mini lots 0.10 (10,000).
-Do you allow micro contracts? Yes, you have the ability to trade Micro lots beyond the mini 0.10 (10,000) lot size. (Example you can do .12 or 1.89) no micro below .10 lot size.
-Do you have block trading ability? Yes, we can provide one master account that has the ability to allocate the contracts to multiple accounts.
-Is ATC Brokers registered?Yes, ATC is registered with NFA/CFTC.

-Is scalping allowed? Yes.
-Are spreads widened during news?During news events, liquidity providers more then often pull their bids out of the market for a few sec which causes the spreads to widen.
-Is news trading allowed? Yes, it is allowed, however, keep in mind that we do not control the spreads and sometimes the banks pull their bids out of the market during the news, causing the spreads to widen. If you are trading the news, be extra careful.
-Is Expert Advisors (EA) trading allowed? Yes, but be sure to follow our guideline for 5 place decimal pricing and the software is set to Eastern Daylight Time.

-Why can’t I create a demo from the platform? ATC has disabled the “open an account” feature on the Metatrader Pro for varies reasons. In order to sign up for the demo, you will need to fill out the demo request form.

-How do I request a demo? You can request a demo by clicking on demo request from the homepage or see below.

-Is the demo pricing same as the live pricing? Yes, we are feeding the data for the demo straight from the live market pricing.
-How long are the demos good for? The demo account is active for two months. You can request a total of 2 demos. If you need additional demo accounts or a permanent demo thereafter, you can sign up for the monthly demo for $25 per month. Open and funded accounts with ATC Brokers can maintain one demo account with no additional cost as a needed basis.
-I’m not able to login to the software? When you sign up for the demo, you will receive a username and password. Once you have downloaded the trading software, you will then go to “File” and “Login” then you can type in the username and password that we have provided and then click on Login.
-Why is there an extra digit after the decimal point? Pricing on the professional is five digits after the decimal point. The last digit is the fractional pip value, as an example if you see EUR/USD at 1.54785 and 1.54795, the spread is 1 pip not 10 pips. Also when using trailing stops and/or the deviation functions, you need to add an extra 0. For example 200 pip deviation = 20 Pips. 150 trailing stop = 15 pips
-Why am I experiencing constant disconnections? This is due to your ISP connection and router configuration. If you have such a problem please visit the link below, and also post your issues on our forum so we can help you isolate the problem.

-What is the funding method? You have the option to send a personal check, which will have a five business day hold once received. You also have the option to send a wire transfer. We do not charge any fee for incoming funds.
-What is the withdrawal method? ATC provides you with a withdrawal form; you simply fill out and fax the form back. The wire out usually takes approximately 24-36 hours depending on your location and the cost is $25 per wire.
-What is the minimum account size? The minimum is $3,500.
-Can I fund in Euro? No, you can only fund in US Dollar at this time.
-How do I open an account? You can fill out the account request form by clicking on the link below.

-What documents are needed with the application? In addition to the application forms, you will need to provide a clear copy of your picture id such as a passport or driver license that is not expired. You will also need to provide a recent utility bill, the address must match the address that is on your application.
